Pre-Sales Consultant (Cyber Products) – Washington,  USA

A global tech organisation are looking for a customer focussed seasoned Pre-Sales Consultant. You will be an expert with Cyber products built on AWS. The Pre-Sales Consultant will drive the technical discussions and lead the security program.

This role is open to being a long term contract or a permanent role. The head office is just outside Washington DC but this role will be remote for now.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide consultancy across solutions architecture teams regarding security and compliance
• Advise and consult with customers on risk assessment, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation
• Solid understanding of authentication protocols, core network and system security principles along with your up-to-date understanding of modern attack patterns and methods to drive security

Required experience:

• Highly experienced with security solutions built on AWS/ Azure
• Solid understanding of enterprise systems to drive innovations and transformations
• Track record designing and delivering enterprise-level security solutions, both commercial and Open source
• Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as Network controls, Anti-Distributed Denial of Service (Anti-DDoS), Web Application Firewall (WAF) and API Gateway
• Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
• Integrate knowledge of Cloud Security fundamentals, including cryptography and the shared responsibility model into adoption models and methods for customers
• Proven experience building security reference architecture for all-in cloud deployments and hybrid scenarios
• Significant technical expertise in Cloud Computing technologies, scripting languages, encryption tools and best practices, and forensics.
