Senior Account Manager – up to £50K base and with OTE £80K

 

A great opportunity for a proactive, strategic and focussed Senior Account Manager. The role is to drive the growth and expansion of key client partnerships and increase revenue and client satisfaction.

This is not a pure hunter sales role and we need someone with a proven track record in developing and growing existing accounts in a complex sales cycle.


Key Skills

You will work with existing high value accounts with a core focus on digital marketing and consultancy services. The Senior Account Manager will need to be consultative in their approach, experienced in negotiating and the ability to understand the clients ‘pain points’ and offer creative and realistic solutions with a clear return on investment for them. You will also need to be comfortable in presenting and truly understand the value of using data to inform strategic decisions.


Core responsibilities for the Senior Account Manager:

 

• Grow current client spend and engagement across portfolio

• Propose, negotiate and close multi-year partnerships with customers

• Inform clients and add value to the wider team through exceptional knowledge, seen as an expert in higher education marketing, recruitment and planning services

• Seek new commercial partnership opportunities with larger organisational bodies and corporate clients

• Work closely with other departments ensuring success for clients

• Provide reports and analysis to clients on a regular basis


This is an opportunity where you will have very strong relationships in place and managing clients that will already be generating revenue. An experienced Sales Account Manager will be able to hit the ground running and set realistic growth targets on existing accounts.
