Senior Commercial Manager (Highways)

This established Infrastructure and Engineering firm have a superb opportunity for an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to develop commercial strategies to support the companies business plan for Highways (Long Term Highway Contracts).

You be able to show recent success in securing Highway Term Maintenance contracts (HTM) with a good understanding of NEC 4 contracts.

Key responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development, preparation and submission of tender commercial responses for Long Term contracts.

• To develop effective bid strategies and solutions aligned to company objectives. Agree bid strategies with the senior management team and implement them, ensuring that they are clearly communicated to all members of the team and are compliant with the customers’ requirements.

• To ensure that the commercial impact of quality promises is understood and managed, during the bid cycle.

• Undertake a detailed analysis of bid documents to establish, plan, monitor and review the development of the commercial response

• Work with the Operational lead to mobilise the Operational team once projects are secured

• Provide support and mentoring to TUPE commercial staff, Estimators and Apprentices

• Provide performance management of commercial resources inherited through TUPE, to ensure expected returns.
